Water, water everywhere, but is it safe to drink? Find out the answer to this question and much more in this study of water.
For this assignment you are asked to use a variety of resources. Use the books and encyclopedias in the library collection. Be sure to make use of the Science encyclopedias. This site will give you access to online magazines and journals, some links to get you started, and some search hints. Remember to consider the authority of the information that you find. Collect information for your bibliography as you go. For Internet sites, start with the resources listed below. The sites are arranged in the same order as on your handout. For additional information try a Google search.
Journals and Magazines
- Research reminder: Databases are indexes. Search them as you would a library catalogue. If you get too many hits, select the "Refine Search" option in EBSCO.
From the Library Catalogue Database Tab select EBSCO.
- Vancouver Public Library Databases
Select EBSCO and follow the login instructions. You will need your public library card for remote access.
